Igor Petrov graduated from the Faculty of Asian and African Studies at the Saint Petersburg State University in 2000 with a degree in Area Studies and African Studies. In 2005, he graduated from Utrecht University (Netherlands) with a degree in International and European Law. In 2019, Igor Petrov completed an MBA programme at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
He started his career at Freshfields before moving on to ICICI Bank. In 2006, Igor Petrov joined Sistema, where he held the positions of Corporate Secretary, Head of the Office of the Board of Directors, and M&A Director and established a world-class governance framework.
In 2020, Igor Petrov joined Binnopharm Group.
