Binnopharm Group makes it to top 10 in the retail segment of Russia’s pharmaceutical market

Binnopharm Group (part of Sistema Group) has become the ninth largest manufacturer by sales in the retail segment of Russia’s pharmaceutical market in May 2022*.
“It was a historic moment for the Company as we broke into Russia’s top ten retailers for the first time, while also taking the second place among domestic companies by a wide margin. We have teamwork, partners’ support and consumers’ trust to thank for this result,” said Binnopharm Group's CEO Rustem Muratov. “The retail segment, which accounts for over 60% of our revenue, is of high strategic significance for the Company. Our consistent efforts in this area have borne fruit, with May 2022 retail sales growing 1.5x* y-o-y. On top of retail, we are also taking on more government tenders and stepping up our export dealings.”
According to analytics specialist AlphaRM, May 2022 saw Binnopharm Group's hospital segment sales jump by 27%, while the Company’s overall growth in the Russian pharmaceutical market was 48%.
