Binnopharm Group has begun work on registering drugs in Indonesia
Binnopharm Group, a leading Russian pharmaceutical company, participated in a business mission organised by the Russian Export Centre (REC) in Indonesia under the national brand «Made in Russia» and the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum, held with the support of the Roscongress Foundation. The event was timed to coincide with the 13th meeting of the Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation.
The forum featured keynote speeches by Denis Manturov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Vadim Varakin, the Head of the Russian Economic Council in Indonesia; representatives of Indonesian ministries; and Rustem Muratov, the CEO of Binnopharm Group.
Indonesia, one of Southeast Asia’s largest economies and showing high growth rates alongside India and Vietnam, is becoming an important strategic partner for Russian companies. The participants discussed prospects for developing bilateral relations, including cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector and the export of Russian medicines.
Rustem Muratov, CEO of Binnopharm Group: «Participation in the business mission confirmed Binnopharm Group’s strategic course to expand its Southeast Asian presence. During the forum, we presented the company and negotiated with several potential partners, distributors, and manufacturers from Indonesia, the Philippines, and other countries in the region. Work has already begun on registering Binnopharm Group products in Indonesia, and we expect the first results later this year. We are confident that this will form the basis for long-term cooperation and scaling up our Southeast Asian business».
Today, Binnopharm Group is the largest exporter of Russian pharmaceuticals to the CIS countries and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The company’s products are available in 15 countries, and its range includes over 480 types of medicinal products. To strengthen its position, the company is developing regional offices in the CIS countries, China, and Vietnam, which will accelerate the launch of new products in these markets.
