Binnopharm Group announces appointment of commercial director
Binnopharm Group has appointed Igor Bakhmetyev as commercial director as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its commercial function. Reporting directly to the CEO, he will focus on further developing the company’s commercial model, improving sales effectiveness, and strengthening the market position of its portfolio.
In his new role, Igor Bakhmetyev will be responsible for the development and coordination of the commercial function, improving the effectiveness of sales channels, and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at driving sustainable business growth across the company’s key therapeutic areas.
Igor Bakhmetyev brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and distribution industries. Prior to joining Binnopharm Group, he held senior leadership positions at Novartis Pharma, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Alliance Healthcare, and STADA, including Nizhpharm. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for commercial development, sales transformation, and the management of large-scale teams.
Igor Bakhmetyev graduated from Novosibirsk State Medical University with a degree in General Medicine. He also received management education at the Higher Commercial School under the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In addition, he has completed executive education programs in leadership and management, including the Executive Leadership Program at Nottingham University Business School and programs at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
