Binnopharm Group increases operating profit by 42.5% in the first half of 2026
Binnopharm Group has published its IFRS financial results for January-June 2026. Compared with the same period last year, operating profit increased by 42.5% to RUB 2.1 billion. EBITDA rose by 26.4% to RUB 3.6 billion, while the company’s net loss decreased more than 2.5-fold to RUB 0.9 billion. The Group’s revenue for the last 12 months increased by 5.1% year-on-year to RUB 37.2 billion.
One of the factors contributing to the improved financial performance was a reduction in interest expenses. In the first half of 2026, finance costs decreased by RUB 1.6 billion compared with the same period in 2025. The company attributes the improvement in its key financial indicators to increased operating efficiency, higher sales margins, and lower debt servicing costs.
In the commercial retail market, pharmacy sales of Binnopharm Group medicines and dietary supplements exceeded RUB 26.7 billion in the first half of the year, up 6% year-on-year, according to AlphaRM data (Sell Out, RUB). Based on results for the last 12 months, the company ranked sixth among the largest players in the Russian pharmaceutical market. Sales of the company’s products by distributors to pharmacy chains increased by 18% in the first half of the year to RUB 31.1 billion.
«In the first half of 2026, Binnopharm Group continued its efforts to improve operating efficiency. Higher margins and improved cost management enabled us to significantly increase operating profit and EBITDA. At the same time, the company remains focused on business development and the implementation of strategic projects, including in biotechnology», said Andrey Potapov, CEO of Binnopharm Group.
The company invested RUB 2.2 billion in strategic projects, including projects in the biotechnology sector, in the first half of 2026. The net debt/EBITDA ratio stood at 3.5x, improving by 0.5x compared with the same period last year.
«In the first half of 2026, Binnopharm Group carried out extensive work to improve operating efficiency, which enabled us to increase the EBITDA margin by 4.4 percentage points compared with the first half of 2025, to 22.9%. A range of measures aimed at improving working capital efficiency also enabled us to increase cash flow from operating activities by RUB 5.3 billion compared with the same period last year», said Anna Garmanova, financial director of Binnopharm Group.
In the first half of the year, the company continued to expand its product portfolio, launching 16 new product items on the commercial market. International business development remains another key area of focus. Export sales accounted for 8% of the business. The company maintained its leading position among Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers by export volume to neighboring countries.
Binnopharm Group also continues to diversify its funding sources. The company’s loan portfolio comprises financing from Russia’s largest banks as well as the public debt market. Bond issues of both the Group and its subsidiary are currently outstanding.
