Botulinum toxin Lantox becomes commercially available in Russia

20.03.2026
The project is being implemented jointly with Chinese partners. Lantox is one of the most well-known brands in aesthetic medicine in China, holding over 70% of the national market in its segment. It is currently registered and successfully used in more than 30 countries. The active ingredient of the drug is botulinum toxin type A.

This is the first implemented project with a Chinese partner-manufacturer of finished dosage forms, which holds leading positions both in terms of business scale within China and in terms of international brand recognition.

The launch of Lantox on the Russian market is part of Binnopharm Group's strategy to develop its aesthetic medicine direction. The company notes the existence of a stable and partially unmet demand in this segment, which opens up opportunities for expanding the product portfolio and strengthening its market position. According to the consulting company Right to Health, botulinum therapy has become a new driver of the injectable cosmetology market. Over 6 million injection procedures were performed in 2025, nearly twice as many as in 2024. Cosmetologists attribute the growing demand for this type of service to an increased frequency of procedures, the emergence of the practice of drug substitution due to the development of an immune response to therapy in patients who are committed to botulinum toxins and undergo regular injections, as well as to significant interest in these services among a younger audience.

The onset of commercial availability of Lantox expands the options for aesthetic medicine specialists and will contribute to increasing the accessibility of modern injectable solutions for patients in Russia.
